Tony Nix
Vice President; Employee BenefitsTony Nix is Vice President at Turner Wood & Smith Insurance, with over 20 years of employee benefits consulting and brokerage expertise. A graduate of the University of Georgia, he was named the 2009 Insurance Man of the Year by the Insurance Professionals of Gainesville. He has served in a number of professional and civic organizations, including the Northeast Georgia Life Underwriters, the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Hall, the Boys & Girls Club, the Gainesville Kiwanis Club, and is a past president of the Gainesville Jaycees. A past president of his children’s PTO, he has served as a youth sports coach and has a self described “love of helping young people develop not only into good athletes, but also into great individuals.”
