Rob Fowler, CLU, RHU

CEO

Fowler is a partner and serves as CEO of Turner Wood & Smith. He has served in the insurance industry since 1984 specializing in employee benefits and group health insurance. He has earned both the Charter Life Underwriter (CLU) and Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) professional designations.

A Distinguished Military Graduate of The University of North Georgia, he was recognized as the University’s Young Alumnus of the Year in 2010. He earned a Master’s Degree in Management from Webster University. Prior to beginning his insurance career he held several military positions, including Commander of the 212th Transportation Company in the United States Army Reserves.

Rob believes in investing himself in the community. He is a former Chairman of the Board of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce and is the founding Chair of VISION 2030. He has also served as President of the Gainesville Rotary Club, President of the Chattahoochee Country Club, Board Chairman of Rehabilitation Industries of Northeast Georgia, and is a graduate of Leadership Hall County and Leadership Georgia. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Chattahoochee Bank of Georgia, Gainesville-Hall ’96, Eagle Ranch, Northeast Georgia Community Foundation, and North Georgia Heart Foundation. Rob and his wife Leslie attend Gainesville First United Methodist Church. They have two sons, Robert and Brett, and two grandsons, Banks and Wells.
