Moore New Agent at Turner Wood & Smith Insurance

Joe T. Wood, Jr., President & CEO of Turner Wood & Smith Insurance has announced that Stuart Moore has joined their firm in the commercial insurance division. Moore, a Gainesville native, was an account executive with another regional insurance agency prior to joining Turner, Wood & Smith.
Moore is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in finance. While at Auburn he played on the golf team and was named captain of the team both his junior and senior years, as well as twice being named to the All SEC Golf Team. Following his graduation Moore played three seasons on the Hooters and EGolf Tours before moving back to Gainesville. He is also a graduate of the Auto Owners Insurance School.
In announcing the addition of Stuart Moore, Wood noted, “We are especially pleased to have him joining our agency. His background in this community and his well respected commitment to serving his clients and their total insurance needs makes him well suited to the Turner, Wood & Smith Insurance commitment to client service.” Wood added, “Stuart is pro-active in finding and presenting to clients new options for managing their businesses risk management plans, and that makes him a valued asset in our company.”
Moore has remained active in the life of Auburn University, serving as secretary of the Lanierland Auburn Club. He and his wife, Anna, are members of the First United Methodist Church in Gainesville. He is also a former Little League umpire for the Gainesville Parks and Recreation Department.
