Anna Hewell Awarded Junior League of Hall County’s Pillar Award

At the Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County’s May Dinner on May 1st, Anna Hewell was awarded the Pillar Award. Members were asked to nominate Active and Sustaining members for their valuable contributions made both as a League member and as a valuable community volunteer. The recipients of this award have demonstrated through current efforts, the spirt of volunteerism, eloquent guidance of members, the effectiveness of advocacy and the qualities of responsibility, community concerns and caring for others. Their dedication and participation exemplify the mission of the Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County.

Anna was recognized for her positive attitude, service and assistance as Treasurer, helping write policies and procedures, serving as Nominating Director during a transitional period as well as changing the way the League looks at financials and budgeting.
