Congratulations Insurance Professional Winners

Sunday June 27, 2010 - Rob Fowler, RHU, CLU, Executive Vice President & COO at Turner, Wood & Smith Insurance, has been named the 2010 Insurance Man of the Year by the Insurance Professionals of Gainesville. Tracy Pato, Controller at Turner, Wood & Smith, has also been honored by the same organization as the 2010 Insurance Professional of the Year.

Fowler was named the Insurance Man of the Year based on his community service, industry educational achievements and professional affiliations. He is the founder and Board Chairman of Vision 2030 and has held other leadership positions with the Greater Hall County Chamber of Commerce. He has also been active in the Northeast Georgia Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Rehabilitation Industries of Northeast Georgia and the Gainesville Rotary Club. He was recently received the Young Alumnus Award from North Georgia College and State University, where he graduated in 1981 as a Distinguished Military Graduate.

Pato has a distinguished career in the insurance industry and with Turner, Wood & Smith where she serves as corporate controller. She received the Insurance Professional of the Year Award in recognition of her dedication to the Insurance Professionals of Gainesville Association, her other professional affiliations and in recognition of her community service.
